Dr. Fernando Enrique Correa Tomé PROFESOR TIEMPO COMPLETO

He graduated from the University of Guanajuato (2015). His main research interests include: digital signal and image processing, computer vision systems, machine learning algorithms, data mining, and artificial intelligence.

 

Dr. Fernando Enrique Correa Tomé PROFESORA ASOCIADA

Chemical Engineer by profession, graduated from the Direct Doctorate program in Chemistry at the University of Guanajuato in 2014. Her doctoral project was with the Electrochemistry area. During his doctorate, he did a research stay at Nagaoka University of Technology. She is currently a professor in the Engineering Division of the University of Guanajuato, developing research for the aquaculture sector on topics such as: electrochemical treatment techniques for wastewater, digital image colorimetry for water analysis, development and implementation of control systems to through mobile applications. In addition, he collaborates in projects related to the study of the processes involved in the application of Plasma Electro-oxidation (PEO) in coatings of magnesium alloys and in the characterization of flexible actuators obtained by stereolithography (SLA) or 3D printing. Both projects for biomedical applications. 

 

Dr. Juan Pablo Ignacio Ramírez Paredes PROFESOR TIEMPO COMPLETO

Dr. Ramírez Paredes received a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2016. He obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from the University of Guanajuato in 2010 and 2006, respectively. His areas of interest include mobile robotics, computer vision-based estimation and control, information theory-based control, and multi-agent systems. 

 

Dra. Roció Alfonsina Lizárraga Morales PROFESORA TIEMPO COMPLETO

Rocio A. Lizarraga-Morales received the B.Eng. in electronics from the Mazatlán Institute of Technology in Mazatlán Mexico in 2005, and the M.Eng. and D.Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. She is currently a Professor at the Engineering Division of the University of Guanajuato. She has authored more than 30 research papers published by indexed international journals and international conferences. Her current research interests include color and texture analysis for computer vision applications and computational intelligence applications for decision making. 

 

Dr. Uriel Haile Hernández Belmonte PROFESOR TIEMPO COMPLETO

He obtained a degree in Communications and Electronics Engineer from the University of Guanajuato in 2009. He completed a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the same institution, obtaining Cum Laude recognition. He is currently doing a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering. His areas of interest are: machine learning, pattern recognition and mobile robotics. He has participated in various industrial and networking projects.
