Dr. Juan Pablo Ignacio Ramírez Paredes

FULL TIME PROFESSOR

Dr. Juan Pablo Ramirez-Paredes is an Associate Professor at the University of Guanajuato, working with the Department of Electronics Engineering. He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2016. He is the current head of the Vision, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. His research interests include mobile robotics, multi-robot systems, distributed and autonomous systems, as well as artificial intelligence applications for engineering problems.

Dra. Ileana Del Rocío Zamora García

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Chemical Engineer by profession, graduated from the Direct Doctorate program in Chemistry at the University of Guanajuato in 2014. Her doctoral project was with the Electrochemistry area. During his doctorate, she was a visiting researcher at Nagaoka University of Technology. She is currently a professor in the Engineering Division of the University of Guanajuato, developing research for the aquaculture sector on topics such as: electrochemical treatment techniques for wastewater, digital image colorimetry for water analysis, development and implementation of control systems to through mobile applications. In addition, he collaborates in projects related to the study of the processes involved in the application of Plasma Electro Oxidation (PEO) in coatings of magnesium alloys and in the characterization of flexible actuators obtained by stereolithography (SLA) or 3D printing. Both projects for biomedical applications.

Dr. Uriel Haile Hernández Belmonte

FULL TIME PROFESSOR

Full-time professor associated with the Art and Enterprise Department. He obtained his doctorate in engineering degree from the University of Guanajuato in 2017. The topic of his dissertation was the human-robot interaction between teams of mobile robots. He has several publications in International Journals and Conferences in robotics, computer visión, and artificial intelligence. His areas of interest are machine learning, pattern recognition, and mobile robotics. He has participated in various industrial and networking projects.

Dra. Roció Alfonsina Lizárraga Morales

FULL TIME PROFESSOR

Rocio A. Lizarraga-Morales received the B.Eng. in electronics from the Mazatlán Institute of Technology in Mazatlán Mexico in 2005, and the M.Eng. and D.Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, in 2009 and 2014, respectively. She is currently a Professor at the Engineering Division of the University of Guanajuato. She has authored more than 30 research papers published by indexed international journals and international conferences. Her current research interests include color and texture analysis for computer vision applications and computational intelligence applications for decision making. 

Dr. Fernando Enrique Correa Tomé

FULL TIME PROFESSOR

He graduated from the University of Guanajuato (2015). His main research interests include: digital signal and image processing, computer vision systems, machine learning algorithms, data mining, and artificial intelligence.
